
Austin Bat Cave, a writing & tutoring center for kids, presents its first series of creative writing workshops for adults.
Workshops are limited to ten participants with the fee of $400 for six sessions (with a portion going toward Austin Bat Cave’s free programs for kids). All workshops will take place at Austin Bat Cave, which is located at 1807 W 11th Street, Austin, TX 78703.

Young Adult Fiction
- Margo Rabb(Dates: Tuesdays, September 13th-October 18th, 6:30-8:30pm (six weekly sessions)) Is it your dream to write the next Catcher in the Rye or Harry Potter? Long-form Fiction & Creative Nonfiction
- S. Kirk Walsh(Dates: Monday, Sept. 12th – Tuesday, Nov. 1st, 2011, 6:30–9:30 pm. Eight weekly sessions. All workshops will be held on Monday evenings except the last one because it falls on Halloween.) This workshop is tailored for writers with a creative-writing project of some kind underway—whether it’s a novel or a nonfiction project.
