In this one-day seminar, we will discuss the odd allure of our favorite villains from literature: what separates the antagonists who send shivers up our spines from those who lie flat on the page. We will respond to several short prompts that will help us craft the compelling, emotionally-complex villains our protagonists deserve. This class would be ideal for those looking for the jumping-off point for a new story, or for those looking for ways to invigorate current, ongoing projects.
This Austin Bat Cave adult writing seminar is open to writers of all levels and limited to 30 students. The session will be recorded and accessible to class participants after the meeting has ended.
