Description
Where do stories begin? Maybe in the hush of the trees, the glow of fireflies, or the ripples of a quiet stream. This summer, we’ll let nature guide our imagination. Through fairytales, folklore, and a bit of creative magic, we’ll turn what we see and hear into stories that practically leap off the page. If you want to write about enchanted forests, mythical creatures,
or the wonder of the real world, this camp is a place to explore, create, and share. If you love storytelling and fairytales, come join us for a summer of inspiration! This summer camp is for young writers in 3rd-5th grade.
This workshop will take place at African American Youth Harvest Foundation’s Resource Center Office.
- If each of our students donated $200 this summer, then Austin Bat Cave will be able to reach more students than ever before. For 16 years, Austin Bat Cave has provided affordable creative writing programs for Central Texas youth. Your donation will go towards supplies, teacher stipends, and other resources ABC needs in order to keep amplifying young voices. ABC’s actual cost is over $1,000 per camp, but we know the benefit of helping students tell their stories and sharing them with the world is priceless.
- When checking out, please add your student’s name and grade to the “Order Notes” section.
