We took a city bus and turned it into bookmobile! The Bat Mobile is a dreamscape where students have room to reimagine what’s possible, immerse themselves new books and create their own stories. Austin Bat Cave partnered with SOMA Small Spaces and Kuniklo Artist Collective to develop our bookmobile.
With rising housing costs and gentrification pushing families further outside of city limits, Austin Bat Cave developed The Bat Mobile to be a traveling creative space to serve students and communities in the greater Austin area, especially the more rural and widespread schools and communities.
